Minjae Ko is a designer and editor working across print and digital media. He is currently studying visual communication design at Hongik University, Seoul.

He is concerned with how design does not merely organize form and modes of communication, but has materially organized the ways in which power and institutions operate, carrying out ideology in the process. Even as he reads the conditions design is placed in alongside their political and economic context, he seeks out practices through which design can intervene directly in the world.

His work centers on editorial and identity design, extending into research, writing, publishing, and collaboration.

In July 2026, he writed, and translated Unbound Conditions, a collection of seven interviews on the web and publishing.
